- Final notes: I’m delighted that my contest attracted such a large number of simply wonderful entries. it was a special one for me… “three colours blue” is the name of a guesthouse in Mossel Bay where I live and the name refers to the three blues of the sea in the bay, the mountains and blue-blue African sky. the view from the guesthouse is breathtaking: http://www.greatbrakriver.co.za/blue/gallery.htm and http://www.greatbrakriver.co.za/blue/
but what a difficult contest to judge!! many, many poems were technically good and pretty much on par with each other. I read and read and moved between them until I was blue in the face!
