One night you retire, nestle into your bed, comfortable, the world is good.
Next morning you wake up and you are BLIND!
Tell me the fears in your heart, the struggle you have adapting.
DO NOT write simple stuff like "I keep bumping into things"
I want your mental anguish, your anxiety, your fear.
for instance:
and as the moment of awake arrived
i found i could not see the dawn's wonder -
fear shuddered as i realised these eyes
were open, but unseeing, a scream flew
through the mind as panic saturated...

looking forward to reading!

Having had this happen already,I could recount feelings and fears as if it were a vital part of my existence. Thankfully, surgery has corrected a degree of the vision, leaving me to see nothing but white shadows most times in one eye. I will see what I can come up with.

oh wow, so you are one of the few lucky ones that could be helped in getting most of your vision back, oh the mere thought of losing your sight is scary!

I have been having that experience for the last six months though only to a mild degree. Had a major eye op and it's still not right.
I'll reserve if I may. -
