Contest is Over

  • Contest was judged on May 1
  • Rewards: Gold: 1000, Silver: 500, Bronze: 350
  • Final notes:
wow - this was an amazing contest! I honestly loved all the entries - especially the five winners, of course. I can even say there was a draw between gold and silver - I honestly could have picked either for gold before both deserved it. I went with the one that felt more simple to me because it felt like it went better for the contest, but the silver poem is incredibly beautiful and peaceful as well. I suggest anyone and everyone read the five winners - the haiku is exceptionally clever and positive, the first HM is a very beautiful and visual poem, the second HM is peaceful and very much like a lullaby. Thank you everyone for making my contest a success and once again I apologize for the delay in judging.

      yes, it's in the rules.

Now, there was this poem I commented on that was short but I'm not sure, it might have gone a line or two over the limit - I'm not planning to count as long as it reads short. But in some contests I had that rule and got 30+ line poems - so that isn't quite following rules or even guidelines
