There's a big ol' storm a'brewin right now and I love it. Take the prompt of "thunder & lightning" and go with it. Don't be obvious (don't write me something blah about a rainstorm)- use it as a springboard, take it off the beaten path.
I am allowing prewrites this time, so long as they actually fit the theme.

I had a tough choice to make but in the end, it came down to my reaction to each. I added points and HMs due to the caliber of the pieces. I rarely find cause to do this so again, kudos on your excellent entries!!

Silver - Last Lament 2 - so smooth and strong in the face of lost loves come to haunt you
Bronze - Heaven's Corner - instead of the storm being wild, it's the girl who wants to break free - excellent!
