How do you feel about God?

Yeah, I'm going there. God.
So, I want poems that are honest obviously. How do you feel about God? Is he good to you? Bad to you? Does he even exist? Does he care if he does? Doubts, hope, feelings, experiences, give em' all up. I want good poems, and good contest form. I think you all know what that means. Good luck.

Contest is Over

  • Contest was judged on April 16
  • Rewards: Gold: 400, Silver: 150, Bronze: 50, Honorable mention: 3 people
  • Final notes:
Well, that contest was a blast! Now, I know that having invited a pretty broad range of views from strong believers to doubters to athiests, the subject of my own faith seems to be appropriate to address. I was brought up in evangelical christian settings, and I am at a point in my life being in university and having experienced the hardships of real-life where I am doubting. At least my practice is not as fanatical as it was. I think deeply, and sometimes I despair and doubt. I listen attentively to atheist arguments and evolution and take them seriously. I engage with ideas that conflict with my personal experiences and beliefs and if they sway me they do, and if not, better luck next time. It's just that I'm not sure if I'll ever conclusively know.
So that's where I was coming from in judging. Kinda from somewhere in the middle. I was overjoyed to get the diverse number of poems and it was very thought provoking to read them. I want to thank you all for entering my contest, and please feel free to drop by and look up some of my own poetry sometime! Claps for all.

God's usually really popular. I guess it's because most people know his name. His. What a common assumption.

  • Thank you so much for the Silver and of course for hosting the contest. Congrats to all the trophy winner and indeed all the entries that served to make this a very good contest.....Bless you...mal

If you pray sincerely, God will speak to you in your heart, by the power of the Holy Ghost, and then you will have your answer.
