At 17, and the magic of Adsaige

 

 

Good evening folks.

 

I dont know if you know it, but there's a sweet young poet here,

 

her name is Adsaige.

 

She's my AP daughter,

her work-it shows amazingly diverse talent-

underlying ageless wisdom.

 

 

Below,

I've posted some links to a few of her writes,

though honestly,

you would need to spend a whole afternoon

at her page to get a grip of who she really is

. . .all that aside-

 

She's 17 on Sunday.

    From our honoree:

    I am extremely honored to those who took the time to write, even if they don't know me. All entries held something special that appealed to me, but the top three took my soul.

    Hydrating - this brought tears to my eyes. The writer always has beautiful words for anyone who reads them; this poem is like a resurrection of joy for me. And I immensely enjoyed it.

    Of Crushed Roses & Waxen Dreams - I cannot begin to describe the absolute honor of this poem; it is filled with so many components of me, it seems surreal and unreal at the same time that anyone should know me as this writer does.

    the glowing of water - Well, well, well, what can I say about that one? It was just something about it...reminded me of a distant song and memory I refuse to remember.

    All the finalists are undoubtedly beautiful. Thank you once more for the honor!
