Hey everybody! I've been doing a few of these in other contests, so I figured maybe I could host a contest like it and see what everyone can come up with! What you do is just pick a word from the list below and write a poem based on that word! You are allowed 2 poems per poet, but please make sure it is for a different word. NO LENGTH LIMIT!
I prefer forms (I love haiku and tanka), but also like free-verse just as equally. Rhyme is okay as long as you do it with style! I also like metaphors!

Haha. Basically I'm trying to say that although I love formed poetry, that's not all you are restricted to.
