I usually hold contests for haiku and tanka, I know... But I really like and enjoy both forms.
For this contest, I would like you to write me a haiku or a tanka. Modern or traditional, about anything you would like to write about at all! (EXCEPT emo and suicidal, I don't like those types of poems.) Three entries are allowed per person, so don't be afraid to write more than one!
HAIKU OR TANKA CHAINS ARE ALSO ACCEPTED.
----RULES----
-NO emo or suicidal poems. I don't quite like them in these forms.
-If adult, please label as adult.
-NoNe oF ThIs OR THIS.
-No hard to read backgrounds.
-Please follow which form you are using.
-Please use spellcheck.
Just have fun with it!

Thank you for the opportunity to continue my development writing in this form - having written my first only a week ago, to win with my second was such a shock I almost fell off the chair
Congrats to the other winners and to all for their creative inspiration. So many wonderful pieces shared here.
