Graphics Contest: A new look is needed to revamp my page

Hi everyone,

 

Ok, here's the deal. I want a new look, a fresh start.
Generally I make my own graphics but lately I don't have the time.

I'm looking for something to put on my author's page for a change of pace.

I need the works, right down to a 'face' image and dividers.

 

The background/border on this page was made for me by Little Feather a couple of years ago. I've posted it as an example of the type of things that I do like (just one of many things I like). There are also some other tags on the page that came from sets that I either made or were made for me in the past that I've enjoyed.  I may add more if I have time to go through my images. But it's just a general idea of the sort of styles I've used.

This tag was from a set made by B Chandler for me.


What sort of things do I like?   

 

I'm pretty versitile actually. I like unqiue things really.  I'm also very spiritual (not religious, spiritual).   I read the tarot and own a metaphysical shop so if that helps you with what suits me great. If not...I like fantasy things like dragons, mythical creatures. I like egyptian things, I like symbols and scenery.  Really I am very open minded and just enjoy creativity.

 

While I do generally like darker colors for the backdrop, again I am open minded and I am looking for a change plus it is spring time so roll with your gut on this.  

 

I enjoy beauty, elegance and serenity.  But I am not overly flowery or "girlie". A little is fine, but yes I am a woman, but I am not extremely feminine in my tastes, but I do like a bit of the softer side at times.

 

I DO want my name incorporated somewhere subtle so others do not swipe it
and I would like something original (no copyrighted images please).  I don't want it all over the page and it can be faded into it even, but I would like it in there. Thanks.

 

I don't mind something lightly faded in the background, but keep it so the text shows nicely. Generally I prefer solid colors but I am open to new things if they are done elegantly. 

So basically ... Surprise me.

I don't remember who made this one it has been way too long but I like it.

What I don't like:

I don't like alot of flesh showing (hot babes etc, not my style) So don't give me some sexy gal showing her goods.

I am not into cartoons/anime and don't like things too busy.


I'm not overly flowerly, a little is fine, but not overkill.

 

I do not like bloody, gothic things. Dark is ok, but not gore.

 

Animals are iffy with me but again I am open minded and enjoy creativity.

I wouldn't mind having something I can incorporate this name tag with that

would bring out some of the minimal colors of it elegantly.

 

 

Thats all I can think of for now.

 

Except...

 

If they are going to impress me they have got to be damn awesome graphics.

I DO fully intend to use them on my page (with credit of course). I want a whole new look and feel for my page. And I do like to change it up often so the more the merrier.

 

Come on, amaze the hell out of me! Don't give me "simple" graphics. Put some thought and work into it. But a word of advice don't go too heavy on glitters/sparklies.

 

More points may be awarded. We'll see how this goes and take it from there. Good luck all.
