Grading Scale
100 points---- Wow Factor... Highest ones to 100 points moves on.
This contest will run for 5 days.
I will comment on each poem.
10 people have entered so far (day 1 3:37am)
We now have 60 over 10 as of (11:04pm day 1)
We now have 76 over 10 as of (DAY2 11:14pm)
We now have 81 over 10 as of (8:32am day 3)
We now have 92 over 10 as of (DAY4 6:16pm)
We now have 113 over 10 as of (9:43 pm day 5)
I have read four contestants poems and so far I am pretty wowed. I ask that everyone does not pull their poems out. We have 28 people that will be moving on so far, and so far I'm only putting the people that score 90 or above, but that doesn't mean that those who make below a 90 won't be on the finalist list. Just be patient and understanding, I have over 300 poems to read.
Update, I have been reading some amazing poetry. Thank you all for the wonderful entries. So far I've gotten 19 poets poems read. I have over 80 poets to read. I ask that you all remain patient and understanding. So far once agian I'm only adding those who have made a 90 or above onto the finalist list. There may come a time where the ones with 80's and above will be placed there as well. Those who have added more poems after being graded, you will not have points added until I have read everyone's work. Thank you!

Update: This is day 3 after the closing date. I've read 11 more poets, so my total is 38 poets. I have added 3 more to our finalist. So we are up to 10. You all have done a spectacular job on your writes. Please be patient with me and remember don't take your poems out, you still have a chance to get on the finalist list.
Update: Day #4... I've read 17 more poets. My goodness this is getting tough to judge. Each poet has brought their own style and honestly, I'm impressed at how different each one of you all are.
