Revival

Alright folks,

This contest is exactly what it says on the label, my muse is presently dead, and I want to see the best you have to offer in an attempt to give me a spark to do something myself. Thats really all there is to it, minus the rules:

1: No cutting, erotica, or profanity (sorry but i just don't see the need for it)

2: All Poetry standard rules and policies apply, anything that breaches those will not only be DQ'd but handled in accordance with site policies by the moderator team.

3: I reserve the right to DQ and post that breaks any of the above rules or lOoKs LiKe It HaS bEeN wRitTeN LiKe ThIs

4: Have fun, and give me your best.

Phil.

Contest is Over

  • Contest was judged on April 13
  • Rewards: Gold: 400, Silver: 200, Bronze: 100, Honorable mention: 3 people
  • Final notes:
    Hi all,

I must admit, for a contest with only a handful of entries it's actually been one of the hardest to judge, first i felt it warranted to add more awards and even now I still feel that I'm not awarding the finalists the full extent of what they're owed.

Every entry in this contest did exactly what I asked, gave me something strong, powerful and emotional to give my muse a good rattling, some entries even surpassed that mark by giving me purely moving stuff.

Thank you all for the hard work, everyone's a winner, even if the awards don't reflect that.

No man nor no one can kidnap your muse, only you can do that to yourself. If the artist has no paint then he a pencil.
If the artist has no pencil, then a twig from the fire.
If the atist no twig from the fire, then he paints with his heart, all the colours of the rainbow. In his self belief.
