This contest is worth quite a few points - so understand, I will be looking for THE best; do you have it?
I like to give quite a few options in my contests, so I will have picture options along with a few prompt-types. I'm not quite sure what I want, but I know I want it to be dark - moving, I want to feel the poetry under my skin as if I were writing it with my own blood pen.
Prompts;
*Vampires; love, hate, murder, lust. Anything, since I know "Vampires" are the craze these days.
*A Masquerade Ball themed poem. I hate to say it, but I will probably favor these poems more than others since I've really been into the whole Masquerade Ball thing for a while now.
*Horror. Thrill me, scare me; I want to be terrified.
Pictures; [Please post them in your poem if using.]
*The Masquerade Ball in the move The Labyrinth [one of the best movies of all time.];

*A dark picture I came across the other day. Not sure who to credit it to but, it fascinated me;

*My Favorite Flower;

Now, I suppose it is fair to tell you all that all of these prompts and pictures have something to do with each other, for me, because of something I am writing. Might give you some sort of hint towards what I am looking for.
Rules;
*One entry per person.
*No bashing; no getting mad at me for not choosing you.
*NO PW.
*No Dirty Pretty.
*No... weird poem-ing. You can have your own style but, NoTHinG lIkE ThIs, et cetera.
*All in all, just...behave.
Now;
Move me.

Contest is Over
- Contest was judged on April 10
- Rewards: Gold: 5000, Silver: 900, Bronze: 300
- Final notes: I was impressed with some of the entries, and displeased with others. Those who won the trophies did just what I asked them to do; they moved me.
And so, now I'll move them up, with a bunch of points. Muahaha.
~Pretty Britty.

I haven't written anything in a while. I've been blocked. This contest just got the juices flowing. I'm using all three pictures! Is that ok?

Perfectly fine.

-
what about something about masks but not ball?
-
-
That isn't really what I asked for.

-
Have you got all your poems for your contest.
-
Thank-you very much for bronze. It was a pleasure for me to step
out of my normal genre and write for this theme. I too love Labyrinth
(the movie) and the whole atmosphere of masquerade balls. Congrats
to all who had their work recognized. Blue
