This is a PIF from a quickie contest I won gold for in Mariana's contest. You should read her, get to know any poet who is mentioned by another poet here. There are reasons why fellow poets names are brought to light. Write about any topic that is near and dear to your heart, I like poetry that is funny, sad, nature based, adult, (please mark as such.) Also works on war, peace, poverty, love, and poems on what it feels like to be a poet, to be called, culled from the masses in the unique and inspiring task of defining life's experiences.
Make it fresh, I want to still smell the ink-jet trail as I pass through your words. There is no line limit but I don't want to find cobwebs between my nose and the monitor after reading your poem. Spell check, it just a push of one button, the computer tells you what to correct, and images are welcome.
I will comment on every poem, it is what "any" and "all" contests hosts should do, it is a common courtesy for being blessed with entries. It forms a verbal handshake and a bond between peers, anything else, any other excuses are lame, extremely lame. Have fun, and I hope to see your poem in the gold. --Artis ~~~

- Final notes: I was very surprised by all of the poems entered, I had hoped to add more points to the HM's but the system here has a limit of 30...a mere pittance for such quality. nevertheless it was a fun PIF...and I awarded extra points to silver and bronze.
