Poetic Bandit’s Merry-Go-Round
For The Poetic Bandits
For the monthly contest, we want you to be inspired by our own Poetic Bandits.
If you are not a member of the Poetic Bandits and wish to join, follow this link!
http://allpoetry.com/group/show/The%20Poetic%20Bandits
We want you to select a poem from one of our fellow Poetic Bandit’s and use their theme to create your own poem. You will not rewrite their poem, but be inspired to take it wherever your poetic talents direct you.
The catch-you must use a different form of poetry. If the poem selected is free verse, you need to write a form poem. If the poem selected is a form poem, you need to write a free verse. A rhyming poem will become an inspired non-rhyming form, and anywhere else your poetic muse leads.
Please note in your author’s note the Poetic Bandit that inspired you, and a link to their original poem.
Rules:
1.Select a poem written by one of the Poetic Bandits.
2.Use their theme to create your own masterpiece.
3.Use a different format: if free verse create a form poem, if a form poem create a free verse, etc.
4.Put the author’s name and link to the poem in your author’s notes.
5.Credit any graphic used.
6.Have fun! Graphic: http://www.knoebels.com/images/rides/carousel.jpg

Psychology of Arguments
Wow! Thank you so much for honoring my poem. I'm always surprised, for as all of you know, I am not a poet and I certainly do not know its myriad forms. I dabble in a few, such as haiku and senryu, but I am far from being a master even in those two forms.
CONGRATULATIONS TO ALL THE WINNERS! Well done, everyone.
Luv & hugs, BonnieQ
