Poems about tragedy

As of right now,
I've lost my best friend,
someone who has been by my side for 18 years, and now she hates me.
I should have been a little more understanding to her problem, but sadly I wasn't.

Write me a poem about missing someone, about someone dear to you that you have lost.

Or, write me a poem about what you would do if you lost the person that is most important to you.

Thanks...

Contest is Over

  • Contest was judged on March 26
  • Rewards: Gold: 600, Silver: 100, Bronze: 50, Honorable mention: 2 people
  • Final notes:
Most of you got the simple reply to me for your poems "Good job, thanks for entering" Let me tell you why I did this. I love to comment on wonerful work as a whole.
    I loved what everyone did!
Some wrote about losing the one they loved, a child, a mother, a friend, or another type of tragedy altogether.
All in all I loved what you all did, and it made me very happy to know that so many gifted writers exist.

A special congradulations to my trophy winners! You inspired me so much with your poems, and they truly got across what I wanted. Thanks you so much.
