Contest is Over
- Contest was judged on April 13
- Rewards: Gold: 700, Silver: 300, Bronze: 100, Honorable mention: 1 people
- Final notes: I had intended to judge this way sooner than what I did, but to quote Lennon, "Life is what happens while you are busy making other plans" . I want to thank each of you for your patience, and for some of the most beautiful pink poetry I have read in quite a while. Some of the poetry I read was filled with pink that wasn't quite pretty, which made it absolutely wonderful, as well. As I have sent in an earlier IM, I had to take into consideration the 100 word or less limit that I placed on this contest, since poems were edited to meet that requirement, and those poems that were 100 words or less were the ones that received the most consideration for the finalists list. Again, thank you all for sharing such wonderful poetry with me.

I'm afraid I am one of the poets who went over the 100 word limit. To be truthful, I really didn't even see that was a rule. However, my poem is The Primrose Pink, and I really can't edit anything without losing the whole sense of the poem. I actually think this is one of the best poems I've written, with meter and rhyme coming out in good form, so I am sorry that it will be DQ'd. Thank you for the contest, though. It was quite inspiring for me!
