Do you remember when you were a little kid, and you had a secret place that you'd go, that only you knew about? The back of your cupboard, a concrete pipe next to your favourite playground, or an abandoned treehouse? A place you could go to escape from the world, eat lolly stashes or hide from your big brother or sister?
Write me a poem about:
Your hide-away
or
Who was the one person you let into the hide-away
or
Why you miss it
or
A combination of all three.
I want lots of imagery and description.
Chin up,

Lol I used to rack off down the bush. Not sure if I'll enter, but it's a good prompt for a contest.
Best of luck to those who enter,

What a cool contest!!!!
Apparently I had some sort of "hiding" and "escaping" complex as a child, so I was always hiding in places for hours on end. My parents would have to call the cops, thinking I had disappeared or been kidnapped - and I was really hiding in the kitchen cabinet or on top of the dining room chairs under the table (see they'd look under the table but not up under the table cloth) ... or even in a suitcase. LOL.
I should definitely at least try to enter this. I'll see what I can come up with. However, it may have a darker tone than you were looking for. Let me know if that's not okay.

Dark is fine! Anything goes, except erotica

haha similar things happened when I was younger too.
I always hid under my bed, and my parents never knew where i was.
they tried reverse psychology, like 'only little kids hide from their parents. you want to be a big kid, don't you?', but it never worked
I await your entry
