Ok, so I am currently running a contest for my sister. She is having a baby in August. Anyway, I wan some poems that she can read to him or her right before he or she goes to sleep. Not poems about babies, but, like, little happy poems. For toddlers. The baby would probably like little "sing song" types.
Like in the other contest, I will be making a book out of these poems. I will credit you with your username and the link to your page. If you don't want to be in the book, please do not enter.
RULES:
1) NOTHING OVER 30 LINES!! If it is more I WILL DQ it without warning.
2) No cussing at all. Make it so she can read it to the baby.
3) Make happy topics. Fantasy is fine. but make it happy and not too "out there" where it won't understand. If I feel that one of your topics are not appropriate I will DQ it but you CAN enter a different poem.
4) Two entries per person. I would prefer new writes [[they have a better chance in winning]] but I am fine with prewrites.
5) Nothing religious!
*Points will go up with number of entries

I have a poem for kids that's 32 lines.
Darn, it fits the contest perfectly. Please let me know if you'd like to read it even if it can't be in the contest.

Thanks for letting me submit my poem, I'm glad you like it. I assume the book you are referring to is a collection for your sisters baby, and not anything more than that. (I assume this, but figure I'd rather not take a chance just in case.) In that case I'd be happy for you to use my poem. Thanks again for the contest.
