Steal A Poem... A Partners In Crime Contest

PARTNERS IN CRIME GROUP ONLY !!!

PARTNERS IN CRIME GROUP ONLY !!!

PARTNERS IN CRIME GROUP ONLY !!!

ALL OTHERS WILL BE REMOVED

Okay Partners, we've all had our little reprieve from our lives of crime... time to get back to work.

This contest will require you to bring out your burglar tools and dust them off. What you'll need to do is steal a poem from your poem list, one that you're not satisfied with, and select your actions from these two options:

#1 Rewrite your poem making the changes which you think will make it better. Use a different title than the original poem. In your author comments put a link to the original poem so we'll have it to compare to.

#2 Select 8 words from one of your original poems and write a new poem using these 8 words within the poem. The words must be of substance... they can't just be filler words like, and, the, etc. In your author comments put a link to the original poem and list the words you chose to use.

Judging should be based at least partly upon improvement of the original poem for option #1 and originality for option #2. Keep these things in mind when writing your poem.

Usual rules apply. You may enter twice but each entry must be for a different option. Remember, Gold winner pays it forward and co-hosts the next contest. In case you weren't yet aware of it... In all allpoetry contests the minimum points used for Gold is now 400 and this is the amount you'll need to pay forward from your Gold winnings.

Any questions, IM me (me=catz)

Now wake up your muse, tell them vacation is over and get busy

Good luck and happy writing.
