Hello again

Well we all know what it feels like to lose out on love, to be left broken-hearted and confused.  But what I want from you today are poems that talk about picking up the pieces and moving on! This is very personal for me, because this is what I and so many others long to do!

 

The challenge is this: I want writes that show me with images. I want depth and emotion, please, go beneath the surface and touch me deeply so that maybe (in time) I can love again. Can you do it? Of course you can!! .

    Whew...Very difficult contest to judge took me almost a week to get it done but now it is and I am satisfied with the results. I hate the fact that I had to remove so many great entries in order to narrow it down to five, but these are the best of the best as they all were outstanding. Winners and non-winners alike will be bookmarked for future reading on my part. I want to thank you all for entering this contest and giving me some of the best work on AP!!!!!!!!!! Good luck in all your future endeavors, keep writing and keep moving on!!!!!!

    good imagery is the only kind of poetry that sticks with me. i cant wait to read all the entries! I would enter myself but im afraid im hit with a case of writers block.........................hope these cats inspire me!

    Humbled...

    Thank you so much for the "award" I am really humbled, for with my poetry, I hope can inspire others and show that there is life again after emotional "death" All the other poems were really great, and many also touched my heart.
