Contest is Over

  • Contest was judged on March 2
  • Rewards: Gold: 400, Silver: 200, Bronze: 100, Honorable mention: 5 people
  • Final notes:
Wow, great turnout for this contest! I had 25 poems in the finalists, so cutting it down to 8 was difficult to say the least.

GOLD: The Bride of Perdition - is an awesome Quatern. Very dark just the way I like 'em. Extremely well done!

Silver: Failed Eugenics - Ok, I really dislike prose, but this is a must-read piece written by a budding 16 year old poet. I was impressed. The imagery and choice words are phenomenal. A real delight to read. It just grabbed me by the heart. I couldn't NOT place it.

Bronze: What Passed for Love - A phenomenal sonnet that's so touching. Another must-read.

The HM's are all noteworthy in their own way, and are not listed in any particular order.

I hope you enjoyed this contest. Don't be disappointed if you didn't win. This was some stiff competition, and remember, I'm just one judge. See you in my next one! Kim
