Welcome back.

For this round, each of you will be using a different prompt. In order to recieve your prompt, you must reserve your spot. You must title your reserve with a number from 1-10 but keep in mind, do not repeat any numbers.

I will tell you that these will not be easy prompts, so the earlier you get your prompt the better so that you have more time to write for it.

I ask that your prompts be put in your AN as well and please make sure that you finish it as well.

Again, 3 of you will face elimination. One round left before the FINALS......

WHO WILL BE STANDING TALL?

Contest is Over

  • Contest was judged on March 2
  • Rewards: Gold: 300, Silver: 100, Bronze: 50
  • Final notes:
Sorry for the delay in the judging of this round. This is probably one of the most difficult contests I have had to judge and for that we had to get an outsiders opinion to make our final decisions.

First I want to say that both silver and gold were decided unnanomously by all 3 judges. Bronze was the hard choice as we all had a different opinion, as was the elimination votes. But, we press on.....

But, before I finish I want to bid farewell to 2 outstanding poets, both have been strong contenders but unfortunately had a weak round....

boosiarboogar and Sylvyrwyng. Thank you both for entering my challenge and I hope you will join me again, sorry to see you both leave.

As for the 3rd elimination, I believe that not entering speaks for itself.

See you all in the FINAL round.

free verse just isn't my thing I will be dropping out of the contest. Thanks for all the great times in this and your other contests. Again I tried and just don't write free verse. Scratch one Bosiarbooger

The point of this is to challenge yourself. To step outside of your boundaries and create something. Who cares if you don't usually write free verse? You could still try, and if it doesn't win, well then at least you tried your hardest. And you might surprise yourself, if you tried, it could turn out wonderful.
