I realized that I'm just five days away from my three year anniversary of joining AP! I decided it's time for a contest once again, I haven't had any for quite a while...
This is what I want you to do:
Write a poem in response to one of my poems. Of course I don't expect you to comment on the poem you are choosing but please tell me in your author notes which one you chose. If you included a link to it, that'd be awesome (I'm a lazy person sometimes
)
I know that some of my poems are quite bad, especially the older ones. But I'm entirely leaving it up to you what you choose.
But I hope you won't just choose the happy/funny ones, but also some serious ones.
You can enter up to five times.
Please don't enter any erotica, and don't label your poems "Adult", AP won't let me read them if you do.
I look forward to reading the entries!
Have fun!
Annie

Contest is Over
- Contest was judged on March 29
- Rewards: Gold: 400, Silver: 200, Bronze: 100, Honorable mention: 1 people
- Final notes: Thank you all for entering my contest!
I'm sorry you had to wait for the judging of this contest for so long, but now I finally made a decision.
The poem "minutes after midnight" stood out from the rest of the poems, it was a thoughtful, intelligent and poetic response to my poem "minutes to midnight", that's why I chose this as the gold winning poem.
It was harder to choose the other winners because I liked most of the entries a lot!
Here is the list of winning poems:
1) minutes after midnight
2) Headed back to school
3) Next Year's Solution
4) You Think?
Thanks again for your contributions that made this such an enjoyable contest!
Keep on writing!
Annie

Thanks!

I just found the poem you mentioned, that wasn't in my anniversary contest though.
But you entered a lot of my contests, so I'm happy as long as you keep doing that.
We haven't talked for quite a while, how have you been?

Happy to gain the silver trophy and points for my point purse.
A contest that was a pleasure, for it celebrates a fine moment in time and much good that came from it.
