Alright. Well. this is mainly my attempt to keep a group that I have alive, but I will allow anyone to enter. A contest filled with dark poetry seemed charming to me...and so...here we are, behold! a dark contest!
Before we begin anywhere, I would like to set a few Ground rules.
-No TyPiNg LiKe ThIs (Who has the patience fot that anyway?)
-Mark your poems according to how bad it may be. I want all ages so if it is bloody and gory, or erotic, then please mark as such.
-Do not over use your cuss words. There are plenty of words out there, find some other ones. (this does not prohibit the use of such words, but if I see a poem overusing it...well...you will be DQ'd)
-I am giving you free reign. So you can write whatever as long as it is dark. DARK.
-I will DQ any poem, at any time, based on MY discretion. I will not allow anyone to waste my time with petty poems that dont fit the SINGLE promt. DARK.
-I have the right to DQ anyone without notice. They are my points, and so I do not have to discuss it with YOU whether or not YOUR poem meets my needs.
-Please put "I can't believe that I've lived throught this!" in your AN. I want to know you have read all of my rules, and such.
Alright now, a few tips to get you on my side...
-I prefer poems that are freeverse, seeing as i write in that way mostly.
-I do NOT really enjoy rhyme, but if that is all you can do, go ahead.
-I will NOT waste my time on Haiku unless it is really good. And believe me, with haiku, I am hard to impress.
-I enjoy originality. So if you say, write from a monsters point of view...(Hint Hint) then i tend to lean torwards that poem...not the "Friday the 13th" a monster running after someone...lol.
-I am not picky about spelling, but if you take a few seconds to hit the spell check button, It will impress me more.
-I love Imagery!!
-I love Metaphor!!
-I only like really AMAZING poems if they deal with things such as...say..emo, cutting, suicide blah blah blah. To me, that stuff isn't very dark in the first place.
-I am absolutely in love with vampires. No joke. I want to see if you can represent them! (Hint hint)
-Werewolves (Lycans) are pretty cool I suppose, though I still find them lame...see if you can unlame them!

If I get enough people, I may add a prewrite option, in which case I will allow you to wow me with pre-writes. if this option does become available then:
