I'm extending this a few days cause there's only six entries and that's depressing.
I've been thinking about death/dying a lot lately, well not so much about the actual dieing part, but the after part....you know, after you stop living, then what. So here I am searching for answers....and you will give them to me. I'm not real religious, so I don't want a bunch of preaching or scripture stuff---if I wanted that I could go to my Pastor. I want to know what you think happens after you die, or what it's like not living anymore.....what can you see, what can you do, what can you hear....heaven or hell....eternal life or nothingness. I want to feel it, I want to see it....good or bad, I need to know.
Any style, any form, anything you want to do, I will say that I'm not a big fan of fancy backgrounds or including pictures...but I won't hold it against you.

thanks....I hope people enter. it's kinda a scary subject, at least for me it is.
I hope you give it a go. -

this is a great idea, however most are all hoity toity and say after life is great, but have a look at the poem I entered its a different idea of after life, more negative but i think its written beautifully. Besides you have to see both sides of the coin, you cant encase yourself in the illusion of happiness forever ya know.

oh darn...
I have a poem in my set called "prefect east" that would fit in this contest well, but I posted it a long time ago... but you are still welcomed to read it if you would like. thank you. -
This closed just as I got here so will just do a non contest
write here to try to help expand your horizons...
What be the difference do you think
tween the water and the wall
A solid vs liquid state
both at your beck and call
Vibration is the key my friend
that turns the lock within
And what will come will be a shock
for matters not 'bout sin
A speeding of the molecules
beyond this point of view
A rising up beyond yourself
to start a life anew
Your mouth is gone your hands and ears
and yet you still do see
For all is but vibrations friend
and atlast you now are free
To travel at the speed of light
from here to there in thought
unlike the plane of earthliness
where life was real, but not
Nothing to hide for all reveiled
that gone and yet to come
A universal soup of sorts
Where we're all just part of one
Duality it is the key
reduce to understand
And you will find all answers sought
lie between that "pair" of hands
Enjoy a thoughtfilled day...

This bothers me- it's dying, not dieing. Or whatever.

I wish you would have found this earlier, so I wouldn't have looked like an idiot for three weeks
-
-
These people do not think you're an idiot, because you're not. Everyone makes mistakes and this was not that bad. Sorry I just said it, but I only just saw it.
-
-
Thanks, I make mistakes all the time, but most of the time I catch them
