This is for all the 'dark poets' who haunt the halls of AP. If you can do dark that would make Edgar Allen Poe or Lovecraft turn over in his grave then enter.
A multi round contest that matches poet vs poet. What we need is at least 16 people to contend. 32 is the max. It will either be 4 or 5 rounds depending on amount of entries.
1st round is a free for all
the top one half advance to the next round.

with a prompt given to you by me.
The winner of the round moves on. The loser becomes a cheerleader.
To reserve a spot in the contest you must in your 'reserve'
use this format.
AP Name/ # between 1 and 32 that is not taken by someone else.
eg.: Dark Otter/16 reserve. Get this right people! I don't want to have to hunt you down.
I will make a list of numbers available as spots are taken.

What a wonderful start! There was three pieces that stood out. They all were gold worthy. They truly 'romanced the vampire'.
Gold-Crimson Parade
It had the kind of dark edge that makes me shiver in ecstasy.
Silver-Lover
Has a great narrative and characterizatation.
Bronze-On some summer's eve
I love the tone and language of this. In most of my contests this would've won the gold. You were the most romantic vampire.
