Through the eyes of Mother Earth.

Hey all. First off you should know, I'm a TreeHugger XD a crazy one too. So when it comes to poetry about the environment I really enjoy reading it. So what I'd like is to see people show me how they think the Earth feels at this moment, with all the trash in the streets, pollution in the sky and or People shaping up and trying to go green. Whatever you decide to write about, make it passionate!
So, now that you know the objective.. In first person, show me passion!

No crazy rules. Because I'm not a big fan of them myself, At least 20 lines and No crazy annoying typing please.

Also. I do very much so, LOVE rhyme. But I've read a lot of non-rhyming poems that rock too so, go for it!

Contest is Over

  • Contest was judged on February 10
  • Rewards: Gold: 400, Silver: 250, Bronze: 175, Honorable mention: 3 people
  • Final notes:
Well, Thank you too all who entered. Even though i must say i was a little disappointed with the turn out. It didn't seem as though anybody read the prompt that stated it was to be in first person, from the Earths point of view, was that too complicated? and some people wrote on completely different subjects...but Oh Well, i decided to go ahead and pick the ones that addressed the subject with the most passion. Again thank you too all who entered and congratulations to the winners.
