Keeping Things Whole
In a field
I am the absence
of field.
This is
always the case.
Wherever I am
I am what is missing.
When I walk
I part the air
and always
the air moves in
to fill the spaces
where my body's been.
We all have reasons
for moving.
I move
to keep things whole.

Poem...
Wow, a really good poem to base a contest around. And what an interesting contest. Well done! -
Thank you very much for that
Something I never expected at all in this company.
Thanks to the hosts for a very inspiring contest. -
congrats to all... a wonderful contest
-
Congrats
to the host for such a contest. I fully expected that the winners would provide me with a "clinic" and I was right. All three are from poets who have inspired me in the past and will again. All three forced me to read and re-read, exploring the lines between the lines as well as my own interpretation. It's contests like this one that keep me here.
Thanks

Thanks so much Al. Wonderful contest.
