I'm officially sick of winter. Everything is cold, dead, and grey. So to get rid of my pessimistic brooding, I want you to show me everyday miracles. Show me how the ordinary can be beautiful and amazing.
You have two choices on how to go about this.
1) Write me a story. Reasonably short, but long enough to have been well developed. I love origional descriptions to set the scene well in my head.
2) Write me a poem. Any style you want really, but if you're going to rhyme please put some effort into making it interesting or I'll think you're corny. (i.e. not hat cat type stuff, we're beyond preschool)
The specifics of the topic are up to you as long as you keep with the basic criteria. Feel free to throw in some humor, but you don't have to in order to accomplish the task at hand.
Rules:
No erotica or anything dark and disturbing, it doesn't fit the prompt.
No molesting the shift key.
Readable backgrounds.
No chat speak or horrendeous abuse of the spelling and grammar of the English language.
May reseve, but if you don't come back to finish I will delete your entry.
I will do my best to comment on all entries and my favorites are especially encouraged to participate in this. Points may go up and donations are greatly appreciated.
Enjoy.
