In celebration of my Third year here at AP I decided to host a mega contest. Granted I am a little late, almost a month ( it was Jan 9) but eh, who cares! I am doing it now!
As you can see, I have thrown in a substantial award amount BUT If I do not get a lot of poems or a good quality, I will delete this and make a new one with less points! So get to writing!
IF you submit a prewrite, you MUST give me AT LEAST one new one as well! I do not care what form you use or the subject matter, as long as it follows the rules listed below!
Basically, though I want you to give me your VERY VERY BEST! Something worthy of so many points! I will add HM's as I see how many I think should be so awarded, so again, it is up to all of you, my dear poets, to make this a truly mega contest!
Rules:
IF YOU DO NOT FOLLOW THEM I WILL DQ YOU!
*No whining, please!
*Limit the cussing and keep it clean, pretty and at least PG rated. PLEASE. NO gore or violence,(This includes to oneself,) as there is likely to be younger entrants and because it does not impress me.
*Erotica is allowed IN MODERATION! nothing violent, gory, or hardcore please.
*English preferred, or at least add an English translation if you really must write in another language
*No Sticky Caps or chat speak please
*NO BASHING! Of ANY kind
*PLEASE Read and comment on at least one other entry ( strongly encouraged not required per new rules)
******Please put your screen name in your author's notes !!!!!
*If I IM you or comment in the poem something concerning your entry and you do not respond in a reasonable time, I will DQ the piece in question
*I will add HM's depending on the number of entries I get
* HAVE FUN!!!
