I want you to explain in your poem, how you can justify God's love, even though you were abused as a child, or because of other sad or unjust circumstances of/in your life, or the lives of someone you know.
How do you reconcile your abuse with his love ??????

The person, or persons who realize why, and can understand how this can be true, will be the winners of this contest, because there IS a reason he allows bad things to happen. It is answered biblically.

My thoughts,
Mankind was created to live forever, Satan saw to it that ended, Adam and Eve broke the one and only rule God had laid on them.
Do not eat from the tree in the middle of the garden, for in the day you eat from it, you will positively die.
Through the instigation and lies of one very jealous and angry angel, Eve was decieved, Adam choose to die with her.
All children were born after they began to die, we inheirited death from them, it's been passed down to this very day.
The Bible not only reveals why we die but also explains the condition of the dead, it is a very deep sleep, without the breath of life. But God offers hope for our deceased loved ones, a momentous time when it will be possible to report: “Death is swallowed up forever.”—1 Corinthians 15:54.
There will be no more death, only ressurection to life, eternal life for those who believe in the ransom from death that God provided, namely, his son, Jesus.
Many people believe that it is God who takes their loved ones away in death, when accually, it is God's enemy, Satan that destroys us.
The book of Job tells a story of a man who lost all 10 of his children due to Satan, who used a wind storm when all the children were eating at the eldest brother's house. the house collapsed on them, and they were all killed...not by God, but by Satan.
We also die because of sickness and untimely death, this can happen at any stage of a persons life, from birth to very aged.
Time and unforseen occurance befall us all, no matter how old we are.
God views all humans as precious, without distinction to age.
Why does he allow these things to happen?
God tried to do things his way, it was us who rejected him, our ancestors wanted a human king to rule over them, so God allowed us to rule ourselves, without his interference, he has given us free choice for thousands of years to make our own decisions, bad or good. He doesn't want a bunch of robots to love him, he wants us to do it of our own free will. This is why even innocent babies die, this is why the world is plagued by corruption, why children are molested, because even the child molesters, thieves, murderers, rapists, all have free choice, they choose to do evil. And God's time to interfere isn't here yet.
But he set a time limit, that time is almost up, it is refered to as The gentile times of the nations. Then it's Gods turn to rule.
In the meantime, humans have tried every concievable form of goverment possible, none have worked, because all have flaws, and none of them can control the evil forces of humans who insist on bringing harm to others. They also can't do anything about growing old, or death, only God can change those things, and he promises he will, and every single person who has ever lived will be brought back to life.

Well biblically there is a reason but for me the way I reconciled it was through the sweet knowledge that He allowed me to live through it and in the end gave me the courage to walk out......He made me who I am today and for that I am grateful...... What you said is true, and I think that it's true for many who can get through it with their faith intact.
But some people end up blaming God for it, and then hate him for not stoping it, or becoming atheists or agnostics.
I want to understand this, which is the reason for this contest, as well as for those who understand why, and still believe and love him.

God is not to blame for anything. He is an almighty power. The creator of all things that exist. man is totally responsible for everything physical. We messed up Not God. I think it helps a lot of people when they finally click to that reality. Everything is energy. The earth stay in place, stays in the sky without falling because of energy. That amazing power is what we are made of also. If we take our thoughts which are energy generated,and be positive about them, we make them happen. That's logic. Simple. God allows us to work it out for ourselves because how else will be learn and become more powerful spirits. God told us to believe. Why do we keep losing faith and trust in that simple truth.Like any good parent he waits for us to come to him if we mess up.
Churches were man made, trying to scare people into submission to their teachings because they had no idea how to control the masses. Things went wrong through religion.
Now we have become wiser and aware that things are very different.

I agree with you that God is blameless, all the worlds woes are our own fault.
I believe we are made of Flesh, the earthly elements, God and angels are spirit beings, we aren't there yet.

I believe we will recieve spirit bodies in the ressurection.
as far as life after death???
sure, thats where the resurrection comes in, the bible says our thoughts perish at death, we can no longer work or do anything after death, it is refered to as a deep sleep by Jesus.
The soul (person) dies, his spirit goes out and back to God untill the ressurection.
If we could live on after death, then Jesus death would be meaningless, because we wouldn't need him.
My hope is a ressurection back to life through Jesus, not mans philosophys.
Churches were man made, yes, and Jesus started his when he was on Earth,
It has been corrupted, but Jesus assured us that his truth would still be here for honest hearted followers to find. I believe him.

I love the fact that you have found this truth. For He is Just before He is loving. He is Holy before He is forgiving. Much of the things we go through are to teach us how to grow into all truth and maturity. Also, some of what we go through is to aid and comfort others who will eventually go through the same things.
