Ground Hog Day

Here in the Northeast part of the United States we look forward to Ground Hog Day to see if winter is almost over. If the ground hog ( Punxsutawney Phil) sees his shadow, then we have six more weeks of the snow and cold and if he doesn't then winter is almost over. It has been very cold this winter here in Pennsylvania so I hope it is over soon.

What I want are poems about Ground Hog Day. They can be about ground hogs or nature or winter or looking forward to spring, any where your winter muse takes you. Serious or humorous, nature, it matters not.
It will end on Ground Hog Day February 2. I look forward too some great poetry. Bless You, Sandy

I want to thank dear Arkbear for giving me 365 points for my contest. What a wonderful brother. Bless you.
