Recently the news has been full of horrific deaths of precious children killed in the most brutal way..
I dont have the strength to write about what they did..
and anyone who knows me , would know that I have lost a child due to god wanting her back...
BUT THESE PEOPLE take their own childrens life.. for what??
what could a two year old of done to them???

UPDATE- news of these recent deaths have not travelled around the world yet so i will explain one recent case... so here goes..
A child of two years old was left for 2 hours by her parents on her own. she was very sick. Upon arrival home they phoned for emergency help. The child died on the way.
Evidence- Most of her bones were broken and reason for her death was from these broken bones.
Severe nappy rash which was made worse by the parents?- placed aftershave on the nappy rash.
overall over 100 injuries was sustained. for four weeks she was in immense pain...
She was hit multiple times with a steel pole...
The only thing this child knew was abuse and pain
she was left alone to die.. no tears was cried... none of her injuries were treated, People thought she was disabled due to her legs, and lack of walking. This was not the case.. her bones were broken and left
The parents have pleaded not guilty....
The news may not of travelled but lets make sure the love AND rememberance of this child does!!!!!

- Final notes: Well the very emotional contest for abuse and nelected children has finally ended and been judged. What can I say... as you know it was not really a contest as such, but a way for us all to shre our love and dedications to the little spirits. Every poem brought words of loss, despair, and loneliness, BUT also hope and courage, that we can chnage this if we try..
the gold medal wen to a poem which was blessing and prayer for these tiny sirits, It was full of emotions and written with such care and compassion.
Finally, Thnakyou so musch for joining in with the contest.. I know that for some the words were hard to write and if any pain as been caused im trully sorry.. Love and light to you all and I hope to see you around AP.

the last two lines of your poem were heartbreaking.
can i ask; are they specific abuse cases relative to where you live? - i'm in australia nad haven't heard any recent abuse cases on the news here, but would like to know about it other parts of the world.
i haven't written poetry in a month or so now but, this is a topic close to my heart - i will see what i can do..
