Ok well this is the first contest that ive made so im sorry if its kinda crudy! 
Okay well first of all the poems entered could be about anything you wish to write about but i would defineatley like to see different styles of poetry. i myself have been acustomed to rhyming, but the other day i ran across a style of poetry called Tanka. SO it encouraged me to make this contest and see what forms of poetry YOU know. With that said here are the rules.
1. No sticky caps
2. Please name the style your poem has been written in inside the A/N
3. You can submit up to 3 poems
4. Be creative!!!
5. No bashing
6. and one more thing... i will allow only a few rhyming and free write because i already know about those two types, and the point of this contest is to discover many more unknown styles.

- Final notes: Well at last ive finished reading and commenting ON EVERY poem and these are the results i have come up with
Congrats to wvwryone who won it was very difficult to decide on the winners and finallists since all these poems were amazing! I literally had about 30 finalists added to my favorites so i had to remove a couple from there i was a bit peeved about having to do that anyways in the beggining i was going to have only five honorable mentions but in the end i couldnt decided so I made it 9 ... I know its a weird number but as i said i could not decide who should get the 5 slots so i just counted all that i had left and added those as the honorable mention....oh well i think i might be rambleing sooo Congrats again and I really wish i could have given MORE points. Once more, he poems were ALL amazing

I bet you are finding out why not too many contest holders allow prewritten poems. It is a lot to comment on isn't it. I admire you that you HAVE done it though. Would you like to borrow my Visine for your red eyes now???
