So I have been in the mood to write, but everything is coming out WRONG. I want to write a poem for my boyfriend, but I can't seem to find the words. So I need inspiration!!!
I would really like some love poems to inspire me to write the perfect poem for my boyfriend. I love him to death and want to surprise him with it.
BE MY MUSE in this time of writers block!
Rules (Cuz I have to):
1. No sticky caps
2. No erotica (well maybe some >.> ) But please label it as such.
3. You may enter twice (but you can only win one thing)
4. Have fun (I can't think of anything else...)
5. I have the right to DQ you if I feel the need to
Suggestions (Cuz I can):
1. Read other people's work (and comment NICELY)
2. Kudo points if you can write a sonnet (Spencerian is my favourite *hint hint*) lol.
3. PW's are okay for this kind of contest but new things would be nice too....

- Final notes: I'm so sorry it took me so long to judge this contest. I tried very hard to go through all of the poems very thoroughly and not pick the winners impulsively. All the poems were wonderful and I am glad to say that after going through all of these great poems, my muse had returned.

Hmmm... I may come back and enter this, but I wanted to drop an idea before I forgot.
For Christmas as part of his present I wrote my boyfriend a poem. (7 pages typed) It was all about from the day we met to different events in our lives together. Mostly how I felt and recounting the events. Not all of them were good, but I was short with those. Mostly I focused a lot on us together in general and how I feel about him.
Maybe that would make a good poem for YOUR boyfriend? I know mine loved it. He carries it around in his notebook.
