Enter any pre-write that DIDN'T win gold, but you feel should have.
What is most likely to win---
good form poetry
or free verse with powerful imagery
I am an adult, but do not care for erotic poetry... sorry! You can enter it, but I will probably not like it. Call me prude, but "grandma" would probably be closer to the mark.
I cannot ask you to read or comment on other's entries, but it is a nice thing to do so please consider doing that.
Only one entry per person.
There are no other rules --- I will simply read and enjoy your poetry and I hope you will do the same with others. My apologies in advance for all the non-winners of this contest. I am only one person with my one opinion and at one point in time...it is subjective and is not judgement of you as a poet.
Write on, poets!

Contest is Over
- Contest was judged on January 6
- Rewards: Gold: 600, Silver: 400, Bronze: 200, Honorable mention: 5 people
- Final notes: My goodness but you are a talented bunch. The sad part of this is that I cannot give golds to the lot of you because I agree...these poems DO deserve recognition.
The only think I can do is remove one of these contenders from this bunch. I picked this one because I love the play on words, the inner rhymes, the sheer talent of the poet.
There were MANY who wrote just as well, but there can be only one winner. I wish more of you would have entered the last contest I had. I gave away 1700 points and there were 3 entries. Ah well. Such is live.
Thank you to everyone.
Blessings,

Believe me when I say ...
that I didn't at all envy your position for judging with all of these poems to consider. I'm so glad that I received your comment for that means more to me than the points and trophy! Thanks for seeing the Gold as well for he is a poet of no compare on this site! j
