idk, i probably should, but just from what ive heard about it, idk, it just seems ridiculous that someone would exclude humanity from their notion of universal truth...
trees are great,
but they don't say more about the world than people do.
or maybe they do? ha

it's kind of interesting, but a lot of it is more detail than necessary. the first 5-10 pages really tell you the main points... if you're ever at a bookstore just read those
as for trees/humanity... it's more like, he hates how humans work themselves to death and wanted to see if it was possible to live on virtually nothing with no societal strings attached
