Hey Everyone !
Well..
I came across this recently invented form of poetry called 'Monotetra' (by Michael Walker )
Its a very intense form of poetry..I'm in love with it.
For u to know what I''m talkin bout..here are two poems that may interest you on what i'm looking for in this competition
~God Spoke To Me The Other Day~
God spoke to me the other day
what He spoke I cannot say
He made my fears shrivel away
I cannot say ,I cannot say
I only remember he came into my room
said He'd protect me from all evil and doom
Now I remember that afternoon
a heavy monsoon ,a heavy monsoon
God came the other day to meet me
and said that the miracle of his work I shall see
He believed me to be a diligent devotee
I feel so free,I feel so free
I feel that day went well
I was no more a stubborn rebel
was it a dream?was it a spell?
perhaps a farewell,perhaps a farewell
~Sacred~
An angel stepped out of the dark
as soon as she did,I saw a lil spark
maybe it was the wind leaving its mark..
I made no remark,I made no remark
She said she was there to protect me
and so i believed her from what I could see
I expressed my only existing plea,
she set me free,she set me free.
She was standing there in elegant white
with her wings abundant in shining light
She looked so promising I couldn't shake my sight
Suddenly I saw the light,Suddenly I saw the light
An angel was she,precious and priceless
she was my guard,she was so selfless
she was the messenger of God,his princess
I cannot express ,I cannot express
She said she would return soon
with the rise of the silver moon,
with the eruption of a sand dune
to grant me a boon,to grant me a boon.
