Contest Put the cat out please by cricketjeff
If you want to win you had probably best aim for something short, funny and decidedly naughty in the mature sense of the word. Oh and we love rhyme but great free verse will always have a chance! I, Jeff, love limericks but you'll have more chance with a series of them. 10-20 lines ideally. Gold and Silver and Bronze + HMs if poems are wonderful. The winner, if not a Winkler, will be invited to join the Winklings. Go to it! |
Contest is Over
- Contest was judged on January 21
- Rewards: Gold: 1000, Silver: 500
- Final notes: The sole judge is cricketjeff. His spotting of a good poem is as asdtuter as sopotting a young batsman to win the Ashes.
Congratulations to the Gold Trophy Winner: "puss, puss, puss.
Well done for Silver: Cat Tales.
The Sweetest Cat; Kitty and Pussytime are finmalists.
I have spared a thoiugh for Lady Altheia who got a mention at the Forum.
Sex and cats do not come into my head but the English find sex anywhere. (Just my jovial or jocose cynicism. }

So that's the kind of cat you mean. I don't think you need help from me on this one!!!

I came to look at this poem so my daughter ANEKA 5years could enter, but I don't think this is suitable for a child of her age
looks like fun for grownups rather... Hope you enjoy this one!!!!
