Hi everyone,
Well it's that time of year again and I'm turning 47 on January 5th, just a couple of days from now. I'm having a contest to celebrate my birthday. Every year it's such a bummer because everyone is partied out, tired and broke and done with celebrating and holidays. So I decided to throw myself a contest to celebrate my birthday on a positive note with all you wonderful friends, family and poets I don't even know here on AP.
1. Write with integrity and fun just wishing me a Happy 47th Birthday.
2. Please be nice to other poets and poetesses in my contest.
A little about me.
1. I'm a mother of 3 children in which only 2 are still living.
2. I've been married to the same man for 28 years...LOL
3. I suffer from depression a lot since the loss of my son.
4. I'm looking forward to this New Year with my word being Successful.
5. I'm pretty vain and having a hard time with physically aging...LOL... HONESTY
6. I am spiritual and call myself a Christian or should say a follower of Christ.
7. I love to write poetry and spend time on AP with all of you.
8. I love the beach and live at the beach.
9. I make jewelry and like to make crafts.
10. I home-school my 15 year old daughter and my son is 20 a pro motocross racer.
11. I love Kauai and love snorkeling with the Sea Turtles.
12. I'm a Vemma/Verve Distributor for work.
13. I've been a member since August 22, 2007.
14. I've just won 202 trophies and written almost 300 poems.
15. I love people and have a ministry called Beyond the Grave to help others whom suffer from the loss of their children to drugs and to also help families who are in a crises with addiction in their families. This is a family ministry since the loss of my son. We have helped many and by the Grace Of God we shall continue through his strength and wisdom.

I am not good at writing such poetry, I can assure you if you see the ones I done for my AP friends/family but I wish you a big happy birthday. May this year bring you love, faith, blessings and happiness.

Happy Birthday!
I'll write you a poem too, of course, but I just wanted to wish you a wonderful birthday. I really understand about the date making things hard, being so close to new years and all. My aunts' birthday was December 24th, and she had the same problem, almost. with her, she would get Christmas gifts, and a 'happy birthday' stuck on the end, like a post note or something. She's been gone for a while, but it still makes me think of her.
