(First Contest!) The internal struggle of self

Basically, the prompt is simple:
Write about warring within yourself.

My rules are as follows:
- AP name in notes
- No FuNKy or ALL CAPS
- Spell/grammar check
- Punctuation...please... (unless you are writing a style works without it; make sure it is organised though)

Basically, that's it!
I really would love to offer more points, but unfortunately, I don't buy points, so these are the ones I earn on my own.
