History Has a Way of Repeating Itself

Hey guys. This time around we will be bringing in figures of our interesting pasts. These are some of my favorite historical figures (some are rather fictional), and I want to see some amazing poems about them! They are part of the reason why I want to get a B.A. in History, especially medieval European history. So here goes:

***EDIT*** You may also enter ANY interesting historical character, as long as you tell me who it is in your notes, even if it's OBVIOUS. Thanks.

1. King Arthur
2. Queen Mab/Morgan le Fay
3. The Lady of the Lake
4. Elizabeth Bathory
5. Vlad the Impaler/ Vlad Dracula
6. Edgar Allan Poe-not poems written like him but ABOUT him
7. William Shakespeare-not poems written like him but ABOUT him
8. Medusa
9. Hades
10. Isis
11. who Lewis Carroll's Alice really might have been
12. Marie Antoinette
13. Merlin
14. Anne Boleyn
15. The Lady of Shallots
16. Joan of Arc
17. anyone involved in the Salem Witch Trials
18. Sylvia Plath
19. Lilith (supposedly Adam's FIRST wife, before Eve)
20. Grigori Yefimovich Rasputin
21. Joseph Mengele
22. Aleister Crowley
23. Pandora
24. Beowulf
25. if you think of anything else, MESSAGE ME, and I might add it

Standard rules apply; points will increase; and all that jazz. Have fun!

Now that you added Mengele (just reading his name enrages me - so I might as well write a poem about him... btw, did you read "The Last Nazi" by Stan Pottinger? If you haven't, I'd recommend it... A great book in my opinion...), you might as well add Hitler and Stalin? Maybe.... if you like?

HAHA I might end up doing that. But I'm sure there's SO many Hitler/ Stalin poems, and I wanted some views that weren't as commonly found as the rest. I might still do it, though, because they definitely impacted the recent history of the entire world in so many ways....and I will try to find that book! Thanks for suggesting it.
