For this contest I am doing something a lil bit different, I want to know how your family celebrates Christmas, I want to know which holiday it is you celebrate whether its the jewish holiday ect........ I also want to know how many different ways you can say Merry Christmas and what those ways are.
I can say Merry Christmas and Mele Kalilkimaka which is Merry Christmas in Hawaiian. Enjoy this contest and have fun with it.
There really are no rules except 2 & that is no bashing others & no erotica

If you want to open this up to more than one entry per poet, I could write one on another culture.

I am going to open it up for you now, so when you get this message it should be opened for more than one entry per poet, I do love the entries i am getting.

This is a very good idea for a contest.
I either celebrate Christmas in Belgium or in Brazil, an incredible difference between the two countries, mostly because of opposite seasons.
Be sure the system is accepting multiple entries, last time a friend allowed more than one entry per poet, the system kicked off every second entry.

We do celebrate Boxing Day here. I didn't even realize that you don't down there! We're influenced more by the English.
Maybe I could write about Boxing Day sales, which is how a lot of people celebrate that day. I never go because I don't like crowds! I will think about it and see what I can come up with.
My birthday is on the 27th so perhaps I have some special feelings about the season. -
I write a poem and save it in drafts because I am working and on different computers. When I enter it in the contest it did not land in the contest but as separate poem and my frends already read and comment, so I cannot delete and re-enter. I am not worried for winning points or trophies, just for the point of writing, so if you wish to read at all, is here

Greetings of the season for whatever your faiths or none.
