Today is my 4th Anniversary on AP. I was only 8 years old when I joined and I remember every second of the journey that has brought me to where I am today, to who I am today. And AP has played a big part in that...and for that, I am incredibly grateful.
So 4 making me who I am, this is a special kind of thank you contest...with 4 options! See the theme

Option 1 : Write a poem about YOUR experiences on AP, all that you have learned, people you have met etc. I know I am not the only one who this site means a lot to.
Option 2 : Enter your favourite poem that you have written that you would never have written if you hadn't discovered AP (for instance, if it showcases a new form of poetry that you learned here. I never even knew how to write an accrostic before I found here.)
Option 3 : Let your heart speak for 4 lines
Option 4 : The personal one. My life has been touched by so many amazing people I have met through AP and I will never be able to find the words to express exactly how grateful I am. However, for this option I would like you to write poems for the 4 people who have changed my life the most.....

Contest is Over
- Contest was judged on January 7
- Rewards: Gold: 444, Silver: 200, Bronze: 100, Honorable mention: 4 people
- Final notes: Hi! Thank you so much to everyone who entered. After 4 years I am still blown away by the talent of the people on AP. I am so grateful to have found this lovely site and I am glad to see it means as much to all of you as it means to me. It was really difficult to judge this contest, but it is always difficult as I wish I could give you all the gold. However, I just had to let my heart choose. Not everyone remembered to put the option they chose in their author comments but I decided not to let that matter when judging. Thank you again to everyone who took the time to enter!

Ellie!

Happy 4th anniversary! AP is such a special place because of all the wonderful people we get to know here over time.
And it's Christmas Eve, so you have two reasons to celebrate this day!
All the best with this contest, I hope I can come up with something nice in time.

Ahh Ellie, I can't believe it's been four years since you came on here; I am sure that I found you when you were only nine years old; how quickly all that time went - and I'm glad to be able to say you're growing up so well girlie!

Hope you had a safe, peaceful, and enjoyable Christmas / New Year. I'll see what I can do here
