I Hate Winter!

Agree with me, or show me why I am wrong.

Any poem (approx. 40 lines or less) or short prose (approx. 400 words or less) about winter will be fine. Follow your inspiration to wherever it takes you. Humor, something serious, anything. I just want to read.

Only two rules: Have fun...and don't get too caught up in the whole winning/losing thing. If victory is preeminent with you, this probably isn't your kind of contest.

    Not a lot of entries but I enjoyed the ones that you entered. Thank you to all for giving me some fun things to read. Also for allowing me to meet some new writers, reacquaint myself with a few I'd not met in a while, and to say further hellos to a few I know quite well. Win or lose, hopefully you all had fun. Again, I thank you all for allowing me the opportunity to read your work.

    A new contest, yay!!! Approx. 40 lines, no haiku booh nah, prose is fine, rhyme is fine, winter can be fine, just the cold is bad, well, the too cold, however it kills the mosquitoes that give me a hard time when Spring arrives, so ok, winter is cool!
