Armageddon. A prevalent theme in modern society. Many ask when, others how, some why.
Some try to conceive plans to cheat death.
There is one thing most religious people and some non religious people agree on and that is that one day the world will end. Even atheists believe in the end of being.
This is a contest to map our road to destruction.
As we all will contribute to the end of days, I will allow contributions to this contest.
Those who are interested can donate 500 points to the contest, and in turn will be allowed to add an option to the contest (as long as it is Armageddon themed) and will also get to vote on the final judging. On the day the contest closes, I will ask each contributor to rank the top ten poems in the order they think the contest should be judged. I will then assign each poem a number based on there position in the submitted list. After all votes are in and the final tally is counted, the poem with the lowest number will place first, and so on and so forth.
If you are interested in contributing, please message me with your option idea and send your contributing points. I regret to say that those of you who contribute will not be allowed to enter the contest.
Since this contest will change with each new contributor, I will allow multiple entries per poet. Just please only do one entry per prompt.
On to the rules:
1)Check Spelling.
2)Check Spelling
3)Check Grammer
4)Check Spelling
Please state in your author's notes what prompt you are writing for. As contributors join, points and awards will grow.

Interesting contest, I may contribute
-
That TS Eliot poem is one of the most quoted in history. I love it. Think my favourite bit, though, is
"Between the conception
And the creation
Between the emotion
And the response
Falls the Shadow."
Very dark. Loves it!
This is a great idea for a contest, can't wait to see who enters! -
I may have to try this one.
I book marked it.... now I need the pen to flow. -
Thank you for the honor of the gold. Congratulations to all the winners.
