Sleep, My Lovelies, Sleep......

And in the morn, shall come your joy.

A simple contest, dearies. One prompt, no less than 8 lines, no novels.
Any form, but MUST be readable.
Clear fonts, backgrounds that don't make my head ache.
Any adult content MUST be marked as such, or will be DQed.
Poem must fit the prompt, but prompt need not be included in poem or title.
Any adult entries MUST be tasteful and not pornographic.
No prewrites.
Limit of 3 entries per poet.

The above is not your prompt!

Here is the prompt:

Now I Lay Me Down To Sleep

Simple right? But here's the thing, my lovelies: I really want different. I want you to think outside the box, I want you to take the prompt and run like mad with it. Go sexual, dark, philosophical, beautiful, sweet, childlike, I don't care, just make it interesting, make it good!

By the way! I'm going to wait until judgement day to read the entries, at which time I will comment on them all.

Good luck, darlings.
