... since brevity is the soul of wit,
And tediousness the limbs and outward flourishes,
I will be brief (Shakespeare's Hamlet)
Today's theme is: CELEBRATION
Tomorrow I pass Go and collect $200. I will older, hopefully wiser, and I would like to share some points with you.
Please avoid the obvious and look for interesting imagery and metaphor.
Any style is acceptable.
All submissions must be between 15 and 50 words (because I am between 15 and 50 years old).
If you wish to enter a haiku or other short form, please make sure it is a chain of at least 15 words.
ALSO:
One entry per person.
Plain backgrounds look professional.
Use imagery, not images with your poem. The contest image is the only one that is acceptable for this theme. Please credit the source.
