Whooooohooooo! I'm out for my semester and I want to have some sweet poetry to read the new few days. It's been a couple of months since i held a contest... i noticed they changed the minimum to 400 points? thats good for u guys but it makes me sad cause it takes me longer to get points for a contest. so give me something worth reading!
on to the fun! i have only 1 rule: please keep it PG people! other than that have at it.
OPTION 1: Write a poem inspired by the above picture
OPTION 2: I've just joined the Twilight craze. Write me a poem about Twilight, the characters, a "good" vampire/love story, something like that. Twilight inspired!
OPTION 3: Write a humorous poem about the mayhem of fantasy sports. I'm into fantasy football right now, and it's a love/hate relationship. let me feel your victory, frustration, anything! something about fantasy sports.
OPTION 4: Lyric Inspired. Write something based off of one of the lines of my favorite songs:
a. "Time after time/I've been through this/You show me what it means to live/You give me hope when I was hopeless/As my days fade to night/I remember that state of mind/ I'm soaring straight into your heart/And I'll fly high"

One last thing. It's a chance for some free points, even if you don't enter a poem in the contest! Here is a riddle poem that I wrote. If you'd like a chance for some free points, take a crack at it! First person to guess "What I Am" gets 50 points. Message me with your guess if you decide to participate, guess as many times as u want.
