For Winning the 3rd Holiday Quiz!

The Answer :

The Chinese New Year, traditionally based on the lunar calendar, is celebrated in many American cities with the roar of blazing firecrackers, dancing dragons made from papier mâché and cloth, and traditional music.

Please remember only the winter holidays theme. Admin you're encouraged to also enter.

If you have gold then you can always gift the membership to someone else or keep it.

Congrats to the winners! It might be a few days before lissa and I can comment on them and for that I do apologize but we will comment on them tho. This was a hard contest for us to judge. The one that won gold was very detailed with their bio. It just kinda jumps out at ya and you can tell that they put a lot of time on it. The one that won silver it was a wonderful poem with a great background with it. Just beautiful. The one that won bronze I loved it. It was so funny and very right on from the pets point of view. The hm's are in no perticular order. Remember Hm's you will be getting 130 points for yours. Lissa and I had a hard time judging this contest. We do thank you all for your enteries and hope each of you have a wonderful new year!
To the ones that win if you don't contact Hekate by Saturday then leave lissa a note or either IM Kevin on what you'd like done with your membership. Link them to this contest and let them know you either won a gold or silver membership. Congrats!!!

You got it! It means prosperity, good luck, and good fortune

There once lived a woman so poor, says a Ukrainian folk tale, that she could not afford Christmas decorations for her family. One Christmas morning, she awoke to find that spiders had trimmed her children's tree with their webs. When the morning sun shone on them, the webs turned to silver and gold. An artificial spider and web are often included in the decorations on Ukrainian Christmas trees

Perhaps you should run this through New Years? It just seems so little entries to go for such a large prize. Surely more would have time to enter since the holiday bussle is mostly over at this point. Just a thought
